Compared to other FromSoftware titles that came before, Elden Ring is considerably more beginner-friendly. With a plethora of in-game content available to players almost immediately after launch Elden Ring, they can navigate the in-game world with a greater degree of ease and efficiency. This is in contrast to previous FromSoftware games where players had to defeat certain bosses to progress. However, the structure of some mission sequences in the game can be quite complex for certain players.
For longtime fans of FromSoftware, the opaque nature of the stories and in-game presentation is the standard, and Elden Ring is no exception to this. There is a multitude of hidden quests in Elden Ring which most new players have probably never experienced, simply because of the confusing structure of the game at times. But thanks to the diligent work of a passionate fan, new players can complete it Elden Ring’s side quests much easier.
On Reddit, a user named MikedeKokkie posted a huge flowchart detailing almost every single side quest Elden Ring and how they compare to the rest of the game. The user even created a handy color button that shows other users how to effectively navigate the flowchart and even indicates which quests are parts of Elden Ring and unlock different endings.
For new players this should be extremely helpful given its often esoteric nature where: Elden Ring’s content can sometimes take the form of. In addition to the large amount of in-game content Elden Ring the game also features a litany of items and events that intentionally cause damage to players. There are even whole items that players are not allowed to buy from merchants in Elden Ring†
Anyway, it’s nice to see more experienced players helping newcomers to Elden Ring† For how many FromSoftware fans tend to enjoy the high difficulty of games like dark souls and blood-borne, the community can sometimes seem atrocious to those with little or no experience. So far, that same attitude hasn’t quite been hinted at in terms of: Elden Ringat least not to that extent.
In any case, it will be interesting to see what the future has in store Elden Ring moving forward. From now on, no Elden Ring DLC has been confirmed, but given FromSoftware’s track record of releasing DLC campaigns for most of its major titles, it’s likely that Elden Ring receive the same treatment in the coming months.
Elden Ring is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
