Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Crosses With UNO in New DLC

Despite having recently passed its 50th anniversary, UN remains a popular card game. As enthusiastic players know, a good UN play can be an exercise in frustration and hilarity, with house rules potentially adding to the drama.

While individuals take on those unique games UN with the base deck is a pretty common thing, unique UN decks and mods also exist. Such a version is now available, fusing Assassin’s Creed Valhalla along with the classic card game.

The UNO Valhalla crossover combines the existing UN play with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLC, similar to the recent Far Cry 6 UN DLC crossover. Rather than simply adding graphics to the cards or some other kind of visual flair, the change significantly shakes up the gameplay and adds a board game element to it. Typical, UN there is no board involved at all, and players take turns discarding whatever card they have in their hand that matches the suit, number, or type of card last played. However, this version ties into a game that’s all about discovery, so it makes sense to bring that element into the game. In keeping with the theme of Vikings exploring the world, the board is progressed gradually as players take turns discarding their cards.

According to the description, the game board allows players to gain special advantages over their competitors, such as discarding multiple cards at once or random event spots that change the way the game is played. The game also adds the unique Eivor’s Raven map, which gives players the great advantage of being able to move to any part of the board at their leisure. A well-timed Eivor’s Raven could potentially turn the tide of battle as easily as a Draw 4 or Skip can in traditional UN spell.

for big Assassin’s Creed fans of UN For players who just want to refresh their gaming experience, this DLC seems to add a lot of fun. The DLC is only $4.99 USD, which seems reasonable given the gameplay changes from default UN† The DLC also comes out for Nintendo Switch, featuring a small slice of the Walhalla experience on the handheld, as it is not powerful enough to handle the real Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

Of course, the Nintendo Switch isn’t quite without the Assassin’s Creed series, as it received the Ezio Collection recently. But for those who can’t get enough of the Viking-centric Ubisoft game, the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla UN DLC offers a bit of related fun whether they’re at home or on the go and away from their gaming PCs or consoles.

UNO Valhalla DLC is now available on Luna, PC, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and Stadia.
